HOTEL INFORMATION Hotels in different price categories have been preliminary reserved for the period of June 22 – 28, 2003. Stockholm Convention Bureau (StoCon) has been granted special rates for participants attending the XXIII ICPEAC. These special rates are only valid for reservation made through StoCon. All hotels offer private bath/shower/WC, telephone, radio, and TV. Note that breakfast and room taxes are included in the hotel room prices listed below. The hotels are situated within easy reach of the conference venue by subway or bus. Your reservation, preferably made through the web-site REGISTRATION FORM will be confirmed when StoCon has received your hotel deposit.
The hotel deposit must be received by June 23rd, 2003, at the latest. After this date we cannot guarantee a room or the special ICPEAC rate. In order to fulfil your requirements, you are advised to make your room reservation at your earliest convenience, as we will serve on a ‘first come-first serve’ basis. There might be occasional discounts on hotel rooms in Stockholm during July on short notice. This reservations cannot be made by Stocon. Participants are advised to use one of the offers below in order to secure a hotel room reservation and in order to enjoy the company of ICPEAC colleagues at breakfast. There is no official hotel nomenclature in Sweden and the hotels are grouped according to their different standards. All rates, in SEK, include breakfast buffet, service and VAT increments of 12%, and are given per room and night. Taxes are official charges and may thus be subject to changes (large changes are however very unlikely).
Reservations and payments Your reservation will be confirmed when StoCon has received your hotel deposit. The prepaid deposit will be deducted from your hotel bill when you check out provided that you present the deposit voucher. This voucher will be given to you upon registration for ICPEAC 2003 in Stockholm. The amount remaining on your hotel bill (after deduction of the value of the voucher) will be settled by you directly with the hotel.

Inquiries and Cancellations Any inquiries or requests for additional information, changes or cancellations of room reservations are to be addressed directly to the conference secretariat: Stockholm Convention Bureau, ”ICPEAC 2003”, Box 6911, SE-102 39 Stockholm, Sweden (Tel: +46 8 5465 1500 and Fax: +46 8 5465 1599). Hotel deposits will be refunded, less an administration fee of SEK 300, for cancellations received in writing by StoCon before May 22, 2003. Hotel deposits for reservations made after May 22 are not refundable. |

ACCOMMODATION IN YOUTH HOSTELS AND BED AND BREAKFAST As no pre reservations are possible through Stockholm Convention Bureau, you are advised to contact the youth hostel or the bed & breakfast directly. Prices range from 200 to 300 SEK per night , excluding breakfast, sheets and towels. Sheets and towels are often rented out for a small fee, but be sure to check with your accommodation of choice. Some of the places below serve breakfast. Youth hostels (Vandrarhem) are for people of all ages and can usually offer “family rooms” with a few beds (2-4). |
