Hotel Information

Stockholm Convention Bureau (StoCon) together with the organizing committee, has selected certain hotels during the period of June 5 - June 10, 2004, and will arrange your hotel accommodation. All hotels are within easy reach of public transport and walking distance to the congress venue. Furthermore, StoCon's hotel secretariat will assist you throughout the congress.

Since only a limited number of hotel rooms have been reserved in each price category, StoCon will operate on a "first come - first served" basis. In order for StoCon to meet your requirements, you are advised to register at your earliest convenience.

The hotels are grouped in different price categories. All hotels offer private bath/shower/WC, telephone, radio, and TV.

The given rates in SEK per room and night includes breakfast buffet, service, VAT increment of 12% and are valid for 2003. Rates are likely to be increased for the year 2004. The exact room rate will be stated in the upcoming confirmation letter. Taxes or official charges are subject to change without notice.

Reservations and payments
Your reservation will be confirmed when StoCon has received your hotel deposit. This prepaid deposit will be deducted from your hotel bill when checking out and presenting the voucher that you will receive in your registration kit, which should be collected at the registration desk. The remaining amount is to be settled directly with the hotel.

Cancellation
Hotel deposits will be refunded, less an administration fee of SEK 300, provided a written cancellation is received by StoCon before April 15, 2004. After this date, deposits are not refundable.

Youth Hostel Reservation
As no pre-reservations are possible through StoCon, you are advised to contact the youth hostel directly. The following youth hostels are located close to public transport and within easy reach of the congress venue. Rates start approximately from SEK 200-300/bed, excluding breakfast, sheets and towels.
